Steering Airbag is commonly known as Driver Side Airbag. It is a Supplemental Restraint System (SRS Airbag) which is folded inside the center of a front steering and instantly blows up in bigger size at the time of collision to provide absolute safety to a driving person and gets him prevented from any kind of severe accidental injury. It also supports seatbelt to help restrain a driver from directly falling down onto a steering dashboard and front windscreen. The front side driver airbag is basically made up of impact sensor, airbag module, and a soft cushion fabric material filled with nitrogen gas for rapidly exploding up in the moment of sudden jerk crash and saves a driver from nose, neck, and fatal head injury which could lead to serious consequences. It provides different deployment in both right-hand as well as left-hand driving vehicles for immediate safety.
