Pressure Plates are dry disc clutch plates which are attached with flywheels by tightened bolt screws pressed down to transmit rotational force to the wheels. They basically consist of a heavy metal plate with coil spring, release lever, and cover attachments. Their core function is to provide a link connection between the engine and the gearbox, swift gear shifting, smooth and gentle start drive, durable and replaceable components, drive train overload protection, and help reducing wear n tear and noisy vibrations from the engine. They are available in single clutch and dual clutch plate variations and help a lot in smooth yet steady seamless on-road urban drive journey.
